Bill Lins has over twenty-five years of
experience in the employment profession in three states: Indiana,
Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
Bill is a partner with Personalized
Management Associates, Inc., the largest search firm of its kind in the
country specializing in management placement. He is a
Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC)...a
designation that less than 2% nationally hold in the employment
profession. He has appeared both locally and nationally on radio and
all four major television networks concerning employment practices,
laws, and trends. He has assisted several economic leaders including
Donald Ratajczak, Michael Thurmond (current GA Commissioner of Labor)
and David Poythress (former Commissioner).
Bill has served with the Indiana
Association of Personnel consultants, the Pennsylvania Association of
Personnel Consultants, and for the last several years with the Georgia
Association of Personnel Services. Most of them involved heading the
Ethics Committee as chairman for the state of Georgia. Bill
regularly has assisted the Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper
on a regular basis on questions regarding employment laws and
practices. In 2000, Bill served as an employment advisor, by the
request of the Mayor of Atlanta, on the 21st Century
Workforce Development Committee.
Mr. Lins was the individual responsible
for creating and implementing the largest non-profit job fair in
the country joining both business and government in employing inner city
youth with over 300 hired in less than three hours!
He has also served as chairman on the board of directors for the
Interactive Learning Systems school in Atlanta as well as an instructor
at Kennesaw State University. The U.S. and GA. Departments of Labor
regularly seek his advice on solutions to the challenging employment
marketplace in our country.
